My love over flows

When daddy's away Jackson and Mama will play. Daddy is away on business and so Jackson and I get to go out to eat anywhere, watch our favorite movies whenever, play with Jesse, and share lots of hugs and kisses in the wee hours of the morning.

This morning on our way to school the song Home by Phillip Phillips came on the radio. Jackson asked,"Is this our song Mama?" I replied,"Would you like it to be our song? Jackson exclaimed,"Yes! I want a lot of songs our songs." My sweet, sweet, boy any song you want can be our song.

Summer, summer, summer time....

This summer was amazing!  We did so many fun things together, Dutch Wonderland with our best friends in PA, the Catskills with our NY/NJ friends, Disneyland in CA with daddy, Jackson and I. We had my brother and Chelsea's wedding, and we officially are POTTY TRAINED!!
Oh  And da da da daaaaaa....we are expecting another baby!  Due February and we are team GREEN...so it will be a surprise for everyone!

Summer, summer, summer time

Summer is here!! We've had a pretty full summer and we are only 3 weeks in!
Catskills vacation, swimming at the lake, going off bicycle ramps are just a few memories we have been making so far.
Uncle is getting married and Jackson is the ring bearer. Jackson has informed me that he does not like the white shirt he has to wear for the wedding. This should be fun!!
The next big plan is Sesame Place with our PA friends and then....Disneyland!!!!! This is a great summer.

Last day of School

Best teachers in the world. Lots of tears were shed but I'm so thankful and grateful that Jackson was able to have Ms. Terri, Ms. Michelle, and Ms. Ruth!!

Spring just arrived but summer is just around the corner!

It is that time if year, the lake is open, people are out and about a little later than usual, and the playground is our back yard.

Warm weather days:
Jackson is wearing underwear but loves to pee pee outside any chance he can get. Somewhere the lines blur of what is an outdoor toy and an indoor toy and our shoes are off permanently.

Yesterday we passed our lake and Jackson started yelling, "The gates are open, the gates are open. I get my bathing suit and swim in the lake!" I shivered at the thought of the temperature of that water but I laughed and replied, "Not today sweetie, but soon we will go to the beach."
"Yay," Jackson bellowed out.

I admit, his announcement of the gates open gave me a tingle of excitement too. As I watch my husband take off in the convertible my mind sings, "Summer can't get here quick enough."
