Summer, summer, summer time

Summer is here!! We've had a pretty full summer and we are only 3 weeks in!
Catskills vacation, swimming at the lake, going off bicycle ramps are just a few memories we have been making so far.
Uncle is getting married and Jackson is the ring bearer. Jackson has informed me that he does not like the white shirt he has to wear for the wedding. This should be fun!!
The next big plan is Sesame Place with our PA friends and then....Disneyland!!!!! This is a great summer.

Last day of School

Best teachers in the world. Lots of tears were shed but I'm so thankful and grateful that Jackson was able to have Ms. Terri, Ms. Michelle, and Ms. Ruth!!

Spring just arrived but summer is just around the corner!

It is that time if year, the lake is open, people are out and about a little later than usual, and the playground is our back yard.

Warm weather days:
Jackson is wearing underwear but loves to pee pee outside any chance he can get. Somewhere the lines blur of what is an outdoor toy and an indoor toy and our shoes are off permanently.

Yesterday we passed our lake and Jackson started yelling, "The gates are open, the gates are open. I get my bathing suit and swim in the lake!" I shivered at the thought of the temperature of that water but I laughed and replied, "Not today sweetie, but soon we will go to the beach."
"Yay," Jackson bellowed out.

I admit, his announcement of the gates open gave me a tingle of excitement too. As I watch my husband take off in the convertible my mind sings, "Summer can't get here quick enough."

Hershey!!

Spring Break is here and since Daddy is off to a race, Jackson and Mama went to Hershey Park for two days!!

We stayed at Hershey Lodge the first night and went swimming, ate dinner at The Bear's Den, took pictures with Reese's Peanutbutter Cup and Hershey Bar, and made crafts and participated in the scavenger hunt.

The next day we were off to Hershey Park...Jackson rode lots of rides while my heart was in my throat and had tons of fun!! He had so much fun that he passed out before I left the parking lot and transferred right into our hotel room without a peep.

Lawyer...stop posting on my blog PLEASE

There is a law firm who keeps commenting on my blog and leaving information for me about children who were diagnosed with omphaloceles, which may have been caused by taking Prozac or some other prescribed drugs.  

Though I am sure you are just trying to get your message out, I would appreciate it if you would refrain from advertising your law firm on my personal blog.  If you actually read my blog you would see that I never took or was taking anything while trying to conceive or when I was pregnant...not even so much as a Tylenol.

Spring is in the air!

Our little daredevil loves to be outside in the dirt, on the swings, or searching for bugs. This weekend was no exception.
Daddy bought Jackson a t-ball set and they began playing right away. In between t-ball and nap, Jackson watched a little snake wrangling and was determined to find some snakes outside. Thankfully the snakes were still asleep but we did find spiders (pretty big ones) and a sleepy salamander. Jackson was in love with Sal or James or Bill the salamander (Jackson just couldn't settle on a name).
Another great family weekend!
