When my baby was first diagnosed my ob/gyn told me to stay off the web because it can and will be a scary place...well that lasted about 15 minutes and then my hands seemed to have a life of their own. I scoured the internet for the good, the bad, and the ugly on omphaloceles...I looked at pictures (warning, that was a mistake that early on into the pregnancy), I read a powerpoint from the NY Times, and I read countless web articles and websites. Below are some of the websites I found the most interesting and helpful:
http://www.chop.edu/consumer/jsp/division/generic.jsp?id=81171 Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, they do some real cutting edge omphalocele repairs
http://allnurses.com/nicu-nursing-forum/omphalocele-baby-157511.html This is a nurses blog on taking care of omphalocele babies in the hospital
http://fetus.ucsfmedicalcenter.org/omphalocele/ Videos, interviews, and information from the University of California San Francisco Children's Hospital: The Fetal Treatment Center
