GREAT NEWS
I just went to see Jackson at around 5:45 a.m. The nurses told me that he pulled his ventilator out at 3:30 this morning and he has been farting and pooping!! Like mother, like father, like son! YES!
Morgan, that is SO WONDERFUL! I know you don't know me, but I found your blog just today as I am 17 weeks pregnant and trying to process the diagnosis of our daughter's omphalocele. How amazing to read your story and the news of Jackson's successful surgery!
It looks like we are at the stage you were at in June. We found out on Friday that the final amnio results were completely normal (huge relief!). So now we are waiting for the big anatomy scan and fetal echocardiogram in a few weeks. We are hoping and praying for an outcome as awesome as Jackson's.

Hi Stacey, Sorry it took so long for me to get back to you, as you can see I had Jackson a couple of days before you wrote on the blog. Best of luck to you and your family, I know how devastating it felt to have this diagnosis, but in the end everything is going really well for us and I know it will for you too! Jackson is doing incredibly well, the doctors are amazed at how well he is doing and quickly he did it!
This is incredible news!!! I never thought I would be so happy to talk about farts and poops!!!!!!!!!
